Returns & Delivery Policy
Estimated dispatch times can be found on each product page as they can vary.
We aim to process orders promptly, typically within 1–3 working days of receiving your order. Some items may take longer depending on availability.
Delivery Charges
Delivery charges are calculated automatically at checkout based on your order items selected and location.
UK Mainland Delivery
- Free delivery on orders over £125
- Orders under £150 incur a £1.95 delivery charge
At our discretion some items may carry a fixed delivery fee, these items are inegligable for free delivery.
Remote UK Areas
Additional charges may apply depending on location.
Delivery Service Provider
This may vary depending on product and supplier. Our preferred delivery partner is DPD.
Returns Policy
We offer returns for most items within 30 calendar days of delivery, subject to the conditions below.
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. If the return is due to our error (incorrect or defective item), we will also cover return shipping costs.
Refunds are typically processed within up to four weeks, including:
- 5–10 business days transit time back to us
- 3–5 business days processing time
- 5–10 business days bank processing time
To arrange a return, please contact support@colourstead.co.uk with your order number and details of the item. We will respond with return instructions.
Standard Returns (14 days)
If you change your mind within 14 days of receiving your order, you may return items for a refund or exchange provided that:
- Items are unused and in resalable condition
- Original packaging and labels are intact
- Items are not excluded (see below)
Non-returnable items include:
- Cut or custom wallpaper lengths
- Samples
- Part rolls of wallpaper
- Cut fabrics
- Tinted paint (including all made-to-order paints such as Little Greene)
Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Extended Returns (14–30 days)
Returns requested after 14 days (but within 30 days of receipt) may still be accepted if items are:
- Unused
- In original packaging
- In resalable condition
A 25% restocking fee will apply.
Faulty or Damaged Items
If your item is faulty or damaged:
- Contact us immediately with your order number and details
- We may request images showing the issue
- Please retain all product labels until installation is complete
Faulty items will be replaced or refunded in full, including reasonable return costs where applicable.
Important Notes
- Delivery charges are non-refundable once orders have shipped (unless required by law)
- Promotional or free delivery offers may be withdrawn if part of an order is returned
- We cannot accept liability for decorating or installation costs
- Always check wallpaper for colour, batch, and quality before cutting or hanging
Returns Address
All returns must be authorised by customer service before sending. The return address may vary depending on manufacturer or product.
